Sewing With Mr. Ventry

Overview & Purpose

This 4 hours hands-on and in-person course is designed to introduce you to the rhythm and skill set of beginner sewing. There are 22 short but very essential lessons needed to sew any project. These lessons will propel you to start your sewing journey right away. As I know, beginning any new project or skill can always seem a bit daunting, but if you think of the process as a journey, it may help you with getting started. So allow me to help you bring your creative ideas of sewing projects to life.

In addition, there are levels to my sewing classes such as learning more about fabrics and their functions, pattern making, draping and drafting, grading, creating your own dress, shirt, shorts, pants, etc. but you must be able to display your sewing skills prior to teaching you how to create any sort of garment. With each course, you will be handed a beginner sewing informative book.

The capacity of each course is set to 2 persons; however, if you would like a private course or would like for me to travel to you to another city/state, that’s also available for an additional cost!

After submitting payment for the course, you will be sent an email shortly in regards to location, permitted parking (will be paid for), what to expect, lesson plan criteria, etc.
